On March 22, the Award ceremony event completed the program of LETI Campus Design Contest. In the course of the contest, designers and architects from different countries and universities created and submitted projects of the LETI campus development. The best were determined by calculating votes of more than 500 students, professors and employees of the university.
The submitted projects belonged to four nominations. The “Way to LETI” nomination was dedicated to the renovation the LETI entrance area. Within the “LETI DNA” nomination contestants proposed new design solutions for the Building 5 lobby. The “LETI Atrium” and “LETI Sports” nominations focused on the neglected inner courtyard of Building 1 and campus perimeter household zone facing the neighboring residential complex. In total, more than 80 projects were submitted to the Contest organizing committee, and the Jury chose 12 of them for the final stage.
The award ceremony was opened by Tatyana Talalaeva, leader of the LETI Campus Design project and Head of the LETI International Project Office. Tatyana gave an overview of the LETI Campus Design Contest stages and reminded of the projects that preceded the contest.

I was among the initiators of the first contest. It was four years ago, and looking at today's exhibition, I can confirm that the professional level of the projects presented by contestants is constantly rising.”
This time the 12 projects of the final contest stage were presented not by their authors, but by future users – ETU “LETI” students.
